1. Only marble dry objects that are dust- and grease-free.
2. Thoroughly cover the work area and wear disposable gloves.
3. Fill the dip tank with cold water.
4. Place the object to be marbled on a wooden skewer.
5. Shake the marbling paint bottles well with the lids closed. For pastel, neon, and metallic colors, remove the dropper cap and briefly stir the paint.
6. Drop the paint directly from the dropper bottle onto the surface of the water. Two to three colors are ideal.
7. Use a wooden stick to draw a marbling pattern.
8. Slowly dip the marbling object into the water, then quickly pull it out. Leave it to dry.
9. Completely remove the excess paint film from the surface of the water with a sheet of paper, using the edge of the paper.
Instructions for use - marbling with a marbling base (e.g., wallpaper paste):
1. Prepare a paste-based marbling base. Stir one level tablespoon of wallpaper paste into one liter of cold water with a whisk, then leave it to soak overnight.
2. Only marble objects that are dry, dust-free, and grease-free.
3. Cover the work area thoroughly and put on disposable gloves.
4. Pour the wallpaper paste into a flat bowl. Prick any air bubbles in the marbling base with a needle; otherwise, the bubbles will transfer.
5. Shake the marbling paints well with the lid closed. For pastel, neon, and metallic colors, remove the drip cap and briefly stir the paints.
6. Drip the paint directly from the dropper bottle onto the paste surface. Two to three colors are ideal.
7. Immediately draw a marbling pattern with a wooden stick, toothpick, or comb.
8. Carefully place the marbling object on top of the pattern. For fabric and absorbent paper, wait briefly until the material has absorbed the paint.
9. Slowly remove the marbled object from the marbling base. Immediately rinse off the excess paste under running cold water. Do not rub. Allow it to dry.
10. Carefully remove all of the excess paint film with a sheet of paper, using the edge.
- Achieves optimal adhesion on dry, dust-free, and grease-free surfaces. Pre-clean glass and metal surfaces with rubbing alcohol.
- For dip marbling, use a deep container with the smallest possible circumference, with a surface area just large enough for the object to be enclosed by the paint film.
- It is best to marble in a cool room with water at room temperature or cooler.
- Have your utensils ready and shake the jars to minimize drying time.
- Work quickly. If the paint sticks to the stick, the paint film has dried.
- Drying begins at the outer edge of the paint film. Work from the inside out when drawing the pattern and do not touch the edge area.
- Thoroughly clean the water surface after marbling. Residue from previous paint applications on the water surface will prevent the new paint from being distributed evenly.
- Use a small amount of marbling paint when marbling polystyrene.
- Single-color marbling uses one color combined with crystal clear.
- After dipping the object, wait a moment. Then, blow any paint residue off the water surface before removing the object.
- This product is not suitable for marbling food or body parts.
- Renew the paste bath after approximately 7-10 marbling cycles.
- Marbled textiles are not washable and marbled dishes are not dishwasher-safe.
- Clean stains and tools immediately after use with cleaner and thinner or household gasoline.
- The marbling container can only be used for this purpose because it cannot be completely cleaned.
- Paper up to DIN A5 size can be marbled with Easy Marble without a special marbling base; simply use water.
- For paper sizes from A5 to A4, use wallpaper paste as a marbling base.
- Silk and thin fabrics can be marbled with water in smaller formats up to DIN A5.
- For larger formats, from DIN A5 to DIN A4, we recommend using a paste bath as a marbling base.
