Maximum precision & color accuracy: The Marabu-ColorFormulator (MCF) helps you calculate and implement your desired color tone. It consists of a mobile spectrophotometer MCF-H2 or MCF-HD3, a software for color formulation and quality control, and a database specially designed for Marabu printing inks.
The Marabu Pantone Formula Guide offers a choice of 2390 different colors. Select your desired color and start with the perfect color mixture. The two Marabu Pantone Formula Guides (coated and uncoated)show how Pantone colors appear on different surfaces - on coated and uncoated paper.
Once you have decided on a color, place the desired color shade of the Formula Guide under the lens of the Marabu-ColorFormulator. It will then read out the exact formula. It takes the following into account:
After the measurement, you will receive a detailed overview of the basic shades and proportions used to mix the desired color.
This is followed by a test print - either manually or with a printing machine

The next generation of non-contact color measurement: The Marabu ColorFormulator MCF-HD 3 is a new, mobile spectrophotometer with integrated, high-resolution camera and patented MantisTM video targeting technology.
The likewise portable MCH-H2 has a measuring geometry of d/8 and operates with a spectral resolution of 10nm. The economic spectrophotometer delivers reliable results on almost any surface and texture. The permanently installed measuring aperture has a diamter of 8mm.
