Marabu Decoupage & Serviette Varnish and Glue is a transparent varnish and glue for the serviette technique. This thick, water-based, acrylic varnish can also be used as a finishing lacquer for
decoupage projects. Available in glossy or matte finishes. Weatherproof after drying.

1. Only paint on surfaces that are dry, dust-free, and grease-free.
2. Thoroughly cover the work area.
3. Prime the object with Marabu Decormatt or Marabu Decorlack. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
4. Stir the varnish and glue thoroughly before use.
5. Cut out the napkin motif, remove the top layer, and place it on the dried primer.
6. Varnish the entire motif, including the background, with Marabu Decoupage & Serviette varnish and glue. Brush from the center of the motif toward the edges.
7. Allow the varnish and adhesive to dry thoroughly (it will be dust dry after approximately 30 minutes).
8. Clean the tools used with water.
- For optimal adhesion, only paint on surfaces that are dry, dust-free and grease-free.
- Light-colored surfaces are best for decoupage techniques. Prime with white if necessary.
- Suitable for all Marabu waterproof and water-soluble paints.
- Pressed flowers and leaves, gift wrapping paper, and fine silk and fabric remnants are also suitable.
- Use a soft, flat brush, and avoid painting over the freshly applied motif too often, as this may cause it to tear.
- It is milky and cloudy when wet and dries transparent to the desired quality.
- Wash stains, brushes, and tools immediately after use with lukewarm water and soap.
