Ink for advanced ski technology
Mara Tech SK screen printing ink has been specially developed for ski manufacturing and the PA, TPU/ABS and HDPE top sheets used for this purpose.
The solvent-based, silicone-free ink system offers strong adhesion, brilliant colors, and high opacity – especially with white. Precisely adjustable for optimal lamination results when combining colors with adhesives.
- Manufactured without the use of aromatic solvents
- No use of tin catalysts provides foreseeable re-formulations
- Excellent mesh opening reduces machine stops
- Very good printability

- Screen printing ink for plastics such as polyamide, TPU-ABS, pre-treated polyolefins (HDPE), mainly for printing ski topsheets
- High gloss, high brilliance, medium opacity, silicone-free, fast curing 2-component ink

Ink adjustment:
- Stir thoroughly to ensure homogeneous mixing
- 2-component ink, mix hardener thoroughly
- Do not process below 15 °C
- Avoid exposure to high humidity after printing
- Let the mixture rest for 15 min before use
- Pot life: 4-6 h at 20-25 °C and 45-60 % RH Recommendations for hardener addition: White shades: 7,5 % 910: 15 %
Drying:
- Drying is possible by air drying at room temperature, warm air tunnel drying, or oven drying
- The crosslinking reaction time depends on the chosen drying process
