1. Only paint on surfaces that are dry, dust-free, and grease-free.
2. Thoroughly cover the work area.
3. Test the flow of the Candle Pen on a separate sheet of paper first.
4. Paint or write directly on the candle with the Candle Pen, or apply the paint with a brush.
5. To make wax plates, use a spatula to smooth the Candle Pen onto a sheet of plastic.
6. Allow the paint to dry for approximately 4-5 hours.
7. Remove the wax plate from the plastic and attach them to the candle with Candle Pen glue.
8. Clean the tools with water.
- Optimal adhesion on dry, dust-free, and grease-free surfaces.
- Wear old clothes or a painter's smock.
- Plastic films made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) are suitable for making wax plates.
- If the tip becomes clogged, twist it off and use a pointed object (e.g., a needle) to remove any paint residue from the inside out.
- The paint appears pastel when liquid. Once dry, the colors become more intense.
- The liquid wax bonds with the candle during drying.
- Immediately wash stains and tools with lukewarm water and mild detergent.
- Never leave candles burning unattended; burning wax and paint produce smoke.
