HOW IT IS DONE:

1

Before painting, clean the bowls with scouring milk and a sponge. Then, rinse them two to three times in the dishwasher to remove all traces of the finish. Finally, clean the bowls thoroughly with spirit to remove any remaining dust or grease.

Shake the paint vigorously with the cap closed. Slowly and repeatedly pump the tip until the ink becomes visible. Test the pen on a piece of paper first.

Now, you can paint the outside of the bowls however you like using the paint pens. For example, you can write the dog's name, "snacks," or "drinks"....

...as well as small symbols, such as bones or paw prints.

Let the paint dry for at least four hours.

Place the bowls in an unheated oven and bake at 160°C for 30 minutes to set the color. Leave them to cool with the oven door open. The paint is then dishwasher-safe at a maximum temperature of 50°C.

TIPS & TRICKS
  • The ink is highly viscous and contains a lot of pigment. It therefore requires some time until it appears at the tip, so please proceed with patience and care when pumping. Otherwise the paint might spurt from the side of the shaft if the marker was pumped too much. If this happens, wipe the marker or clean it with water: Remove the tip and rinse, dry completely and replace into the shaft, then carefully continue pumping.
